I'm starting a new community project. Can you help?
Open Tallahassee is an up-and-coming digital publication that will serve as a true community outlet.

Hi, everyone!
I hope you’re all doing well and staying sane amidst this chaotic Legislative Session.
A few months ago, I spoke about Open Tallahassee: an up-and-coming digital publication focused on sharing interactive stories about culture, life, and politics in Tallahassee.
Right now, the website is just a hodgepodge of information, but we are hosting an Interest Meeting next week, on April 25th, to identify individuals that would like to help us build up this publication into a Tallahassee version of Pudding.cool <> the Gothamist.
We want Open Tallahassee to be a true community resource, where our neighbors can learn what’s going on, share valuable stories that aren’t always picked up by larger local outlets, and stay connected.
It will take some time and resources to build up this publication, but we’re looking forward to expanding upon the three projects we have right now:
Vision Zero — openly documenting traffic crashes in Tallahassee to make it easier for neighborhood and community groups to advocate for safe infrastructure
Community Calendar — an open calendar listing community events.
Open Records — openly publishing abbreviated Commission meeting notes and vote records on key items.

Best,
