We're just a few days away from Florida’s primary election voter registration deadline — July 25th. Make sure you, your family members, friends, co-workers, etc. are registered to vote by checking here.
If you don’t register to vote by July 25th, you won’t be able to vote for me.
Additionally, if you’re not registered to a party, you will not be able to vote for certain races (namely State & Federal. the local races are non-partisan) because Florida is a closed primary election state.
This year, we’ll vote in two elections: the Primary and the General. Here’s a simple calendar to remember the important dates:
There are three main ways to vote:
Vote-by-mail ballot — If you don’t want to vote at the polls, you can request a vote-by-mail ballot from the Supervisor of Elections. Your ballot will be sent to your home. When you’re done voting, you can just mail it back. It’s very easy and how I’ll be voting this year.
Early Voting — Vote at select polling locations. Check where you can vote here. This is a good option for those that want to vote in person, while avoiding lines.
On Election Day — On election day, you can only vote at your assigned polling location. Find your polling location here.
I plan on writing more about the local, state, and federal races, so if you have questions, leave a comment below or submit them here.
Last thing, we’re doing a digital & physical voter registration drive to encourage folks to register and participate in the democratic process. If you’d like to help, please:

Hi, my name is Shelby Green. I’m running for Tallahassee City Commission against Cmr. Williams-Cox because we need a Commissioner that will prioritize the needs of our community and to restore hope, joy, and light to our neighbors that were left behind during the pandemic.
I’m running a genuine grassroots campaign, so I appreciate all the support I can get!
Please vote for me by August 23rd and support the campaign by:
